Located in Lake Buena Vista this African-themed resort borders a wildlife reserve and stands one mile from Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park.  It features an attractive thatched roof and African artefacts with its own 33-acre savannah where exotic animals graze. It is situated two miles west of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

There is a large zero-entry outdoor pool with a 67 ft long slide, separate children’s pool and two spa tubs. Complimentary activities include flamingo and pelican feeds, games with savannah guides, storytelling, night-vision tracking and a horticulture show-and-tell.

Guest rooms are all decorated with hand-carved wood furniture from Africa.  Wood-paddle ceiling fans, earth tones, and wall hangings in safari style.  All rooms have private furnished balconies, many with views of the pool, the resort or the savannah.  Guest rooms include high-speed Internet access (surcharge), compact refrigerators and TVs with complimentary Disney and ESPN channels. 

A Continental breakfast, midday snacks, evening wine and cheese are complimentary amenities available. Restaurants include Jiko with creative American cooking, Boma, Flavours of Africa, buffet style, with open kitchens and The Mara is a quick service food court.
