This resort is a tropical lakeside paradise set on the beautiful 45-acre Barefoot Bay, a brightly-colour ‘island’ villages surround a sparkling lake. A themed pool area includes an island fortress and water slide. Additional recreation features sand beaches, heated ‘quiet’ pools, a marina, bike rentals, and nature trail.  It is located near Epcot theme park, Hollywood Studios theme park and Board Walk area.  

A footbridge across Barefoot Bay takes you to Caribbean Cay home to a meandering nature trail and playground. For little kids a water play area with squirt hoses and 3 water slides.  Bigger kids can test their skills on video games and pinball in the arcade.

Accommodation ranges from standard level rooms to special limited quantity pirate themed rooms with pirate ship beds, buccaneer accessories and swashbuckling décor from stem to stern. All guest rooms are arranged into 6 villages spread over 200 lushly landscaped acres with their own swimming pool.

The Old Port Royale area in the middle of the villages offers a lively shopping bazaar, food court and table service dining plus two lounges.  Dining includes quick snacks or full-service restaurant and even a food court themed like a quaint Caribbean town
