is a hotel of high standard which has carried the Diamond Award
since 1977. It has 1,907 deluxe guest rooms and suites within 4
towers and a casino floor size of 45,000 sq ft. The casino invites
guests to partake in popular slot and video poker machines, table
games, race and sports book and the poker room and there is nightly
entertainment.
The
location is the downtown corridor just across the street of the
Fremont Experience and five blocks from the centre of Las Vegas. The
newly refurbished spa offers massage treatments. There is also a
beauty salon and swimming pool with a live shark aquarium

rooms and suites. The Spa Tower Suites consist of 1500 sq ft on two
floors, with whirlpool bath and plush couches, coffee makers and
floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the pool and downtown Las
Vegas. Alternatively the one-bedroom Parlor Suites have luxurious
furnishings, 42" plasma TVs, separate living room, bedroom, and a
wet bar.
A variety of restaurants
are available for a choice of fare ranging from sizzling steaks,
fresh seafood or Szechwan. There is a buffet menu available at
Golden Nugget restaurant and in addition the Grotto Restaurant or
Carson Street Café Restaurant and Defending the Caveman for
entertainment.
